Hi, I’m Bree — a first-time boy mom, dog mom to a lazy golden retriever who proudly carries five toys in his mouth at once, and proud wife to one of the hardest-working firemen I know. Our life is full of baby giggles, dog hair, and fire station shifts — and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

 

Ledger was born four weeks early, weighing just 4 lbs, and despite his tiny size, he came home with us right away — no NICU stay, just one mighty peanut and two brand new parents trying to figure it all out.

 

We quickly learned that nothing fit — not the clothes, not the bassinets, not even the bottles. Add in a tongue tie and a lip tie, and feeding became our first big challenge. But after a small surgery and a lot of learning (on all our parts), Ledger has been growing strong — and we’ve been growing right alongside him.

 

From day one, he showed us what true strength looks like. Being a preemie, he had every reason to fall behind, but he never did! He’s now the happiest, most active, and smartest little boy — hitting milestones early and blowing every “preemie” expectation out of the water. We know without a doubt that God has big BIG plans for him, because He’s already shown us just how capable Ledger is. He’s our daily reminder of resilience, and now we live by the words: Live Like Ledger.
